Deyika Fund Coordinator Job Advertisement

The Deyika Leadership Programme 2021 is looking for a dynamic, experienced Coordinator.  We are looking for someone who will be highly organised, methodical and who is used to getting things done in the right way on the right day.

Essential Criteria

The role is interesting and varied and will include:

1) Programme management - you will be the point of contact for the leadership training programme, you will think through everyone's needs, be an excellent planner and you will oversee and organise the logistics, ensuring all the programme needs are met for all the attendees as well as the programme speakers.

2) The leadership programme includes peer mentoring, and you will support attendees with peer mentoring and enable them to maximise this rare opportunity.

3) You will be good on social media promotion and will be able to create graphics.

4) You will also have a talent for understanding why people give/donate and you will gather material for our fundraising strategy.Initially, we are envisaging a Zoom or similar video-based programme so you will need to be tech savvy and able to work from home. The Deyika Fund is a fund that exists within The Green Party of England and Wales and you will be privy to the inner workings of a political party and its membership.


The role pays the Real Living Wage (£10.85 per hour in London, and £9.50 per hour in the rest of the UK) and it is envisaged that you will work a minimum of 2 full days (14 hours) a week for the entire 6 weeks of the programme. There may be a further 2 days to wrap up the programme and prepare a bank of materials for fundraising.

This position is offered on a self-employed basis only. The post holder will be responsible for paying their own tax and other deductions

You will need to be available to start work on 26th September 2021.
